The room was clean and equipped with everything we needed for a brief stay. Although it was warm outside, the room had an air conditioner unit with which we managed to get the temperature as down as 10 degrees. The location is right outside the Heidelberg Hauptbahnhof and all the bus and train stops are within a 2-minute walk. Taxi stand is just outside the Ibis entrance. The breakfast was tasty and had good variety.

But please keep more waffle batter at hand 😁 Also really liked the air conditioning in our room and the window in our bathroom. That is really not common ☺️ The bed was quite hard, what I really liked, but it might be uncomfortable for others.

The close proximity to the train station made it ideal as we transitioned from a rental car to the train for our next leg of our vacation. We also enjoyed the easy access to the bus system, to get to the downtown/Old Town area.

There were several nearby establishments from where you can purchase food and groceries. The hotel had excellent value for money.
